Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of WrapParty, including the iOS app and the website at wrapparty.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use WrapParty.

We’ve written these in plain English — no dense legalese. If anything is unclear, email us.

You need an account to use most of WrapParty. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and let us know if you notice unauthorized activity on your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a WrapParty account. Parents can manage gift lists for children under 13 from their own account — those lists live under the parent’s account, not the child’s.

You agree not to use WrapParty to:

• Post, upload, or share content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
• Send spam, unsolicited promotional content, or anything that isn’t genuinely yours to share.
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts, content, or data without permission.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to disrupt the operation of WrapParty or its infrastructure.
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

Every user profile in WrapParty includes a Report option that lets you flag abusive users or objectionable content. You can report for spam, harassment, inappropriate content, impersonation, violence, or any other reason — with optional notes for context.

We review every report and take action within 24 hours of submission. When we confirm a violation, we remove the content or account involved. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent account termination.

If you believe your own content or account was removed in error, email hello@wrapparty.app and we’ll take another look.

You can block any other user from their profile. Blocking removes any existing friendship and prevents that user from sending you new friend requests. Blocked users cannot be re-added until you unblock them from your account settings.

Blocks are one-way: blocking someone doesn’t notify them, but your profile and shared content will be hidden from them in most contexts.

You retain ownership of the wishlists, event lists, messages, photos, and other content you add to WrapParty. By adding content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and share it within the app as needed to run the service (for example, showing your wishlist to the friends you invited).

You’re responsible for the content you post. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the rights to share.

You can delete your account at any time from the Edit Profile screen. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data according to the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. For severe violations (threats, illegal activity, repeated abuse), termination is immediate and permanent.

WrapParty is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the service running smoothly and your data safe, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We’re not responsible for the accuracy of content posted by other users, or for purchases you make from third-party retailers linked in wishlists.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of WrapParty is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for most users, is zero).

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use WrapParty after a change means you accept the new Terms.
